I have experience writing research reports, business proposals, creative writing assignments, academic analytical expository essays, literature reviews, and an independent honors thesis. In order to teach students strong writing skills, I emphasize creating outlines before writing, using the active voice, backing up assertions with evidence, and using clear transitions to achieve better flow. My technique focuses on a step-wise revision process that allows students to progress at a natural pace, rather than remodeling an entire piece at once.
