Three years as private tutor with more than 500 hours of lessons. I am excellent at explaining apparently complex material to individuals with disparate levels of facility and prior knowledge. My talent is getting students to understand apparently complex material on their terms and in their words. I have had excellent results with students from 8th grade through college freshman and really enjoy tutoring. My career took me to VP level at two major biotechnology firms as a research scientist and manager, so I know a bit about the scientific world.
