Private tutor in Houston, TX

Education

HS graduate Completed 6 semesters at universities Completing an apprenticeship now

Experience

I am an apprentice pipe fitter. I'm in school as well working towards earning my journeyman certification through HCC. I have tutored before, generally just to help whomever needs help at the time. I took all of those standardized tests years ago and aced them then. I am trying to tutor now bc as a pipefitter, our work is not consistent. I am currently unemployed and I need to earn some sort of income while I'm out of work. This seems very feasible option bc I have the time, I have the knowledge and I have the patience to tutor well. While I was in school I was an education major with a concentration in advanced social studies (upper level/high school social studies).

Hobbies

I'm an athlete that loves arts. I can't draw but I can appreciate a good picture. Athletics and the arts both require a creative discipline that one must maintain to ever press forward in life. I'm great with those that have a desire and passion to learn. Education can be as fun as you allow it to be. Its about using that creativity while staying within the confines of the limitations... I try. It generally starts with a good attitude and a smile. I'm also a proud member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.
