Experience
I have had extensive tutoring experience both in the public education sector as a teacher and in the private sector as a Spanish tutor, Social Studies tutor and Judaic Studies tutor. I have always enjoyed working with pupils one-on-one as I can help show them many of the different ways to look at the issues facing them they might not receive in a classroom of 30+ students. I have 30 hours in Spanish and 18 hours in Italian from the University of Houston along with over 90 hours in Political Science as required for both my BA and MA. I am certified as a 4-8 Generalist (English, Science, Mathematics, & Social Studies), 8-12 History (World History, US History, AP World History, AP European History), 8-12 Social Studies (World Geography, Government, Macro-Economics, Psychology, Sociology, AP Psychology, AP Government & Politics, AP Macro-Economics, AP Micro-Economics, AP Comparative Politics). I have been a teacher for the last six years with experience in La Marque ISD, Alief ISD, and Alvin ISD. I helped to create the Alvin ISD 10th grade World History EOC review for the 2012-2013 STAAR EOC test.
