Experience
I started tutoring at the Learning Support Services at the University of Houston in the fall of 2010. I was immediately taken by how immensely rewarding it was. Physics became my forte, with batches of students picking slots on a weekly basis. I then spearheaded their online tutoring initiatives while undergoing weekly training and certification by CRLA as a Master-level tutor. Since then I have tutored privately, online, for agencies and universities and continue to cherish working with students who are struggling. I am extremely patient and only satisfied once the students are comfortable with the topic. I currently focus on Physics (Calculus and non-calculus based) and Mathematics (College Algebra, Trig, Pre-Calculus, Calculus), but have also undertaken GMAT, GRE & MCAT test prep. I would appreciate receiving the intended course work (atleast) a day in advance so that we best utilize our time together. My previous experience includes: - Senior Tutor at University of Houston (Learning Support Services) from 2008 - 2012. - Courses tutored included Physics (Calculus based & non-calculus based), Math including Calculus, Pre-Cal, Trig, Geometry, business courses including Micro-Economics & Business Calculus & Engineering courses like Matlab/C/C++ Programming, Circuits, Magnetism. -Private tutor since 2011, working in-person,online (Skype) and in groups. -CRLA certified MASTER - Level Tutor. Attended a total of 120 hours of CRLA certified training at Learning Support Services (University of Houston-Main Campus)
