Experience
I've been tutoring people of various ages, from elementary school to college, since high school. I've brought struggling elementary school students up to grade level and helped college students with their most challenging courses. I just really enjoying helping students understand difficult subjects. Watching someone's face light up when they "get it," is a fantastic experience. I have a clean, quiet, apartment that works just fine for meeting, but the Rice Library is also equipped with study rooms and there are numerous cafes nearby. I am also happy to tutor by skype for those with intractable commutes. Here is a summary of subjects I am comfortable tutoring by skill level: Advanced College (even if you are a Junior or Senior taking 3-400 level courses I can help here): Physics, Math, Environmental Engineering, Earth Science, etc., Essays, Literature and Scientific Papers College level (This includes AP courses): History since the Renaissance, Cognitive Science, Russian, General Chemistry, Computer Science High School: Everything but Art and Music In sum: I'm happy to teach everything from 3rd grade to quantum. SAT: 800 Critical Reading 770 Math 700 Writing
