I am a Teach for America - Atlanta Corps 2008 Alum. I have two years of teaching experience and 3 years of tutoring experience. I have successfully helped students get the score they needed in the ACT and SAT. I helped one student in particular as a private tutor make the honor roll 4 times his senior year, something he had never received previously. I enjoy tutoring because it feels good to help other people learn and become smart. I have a 4.0 in the mathematics major at UH, and can also help with any other "pre-med" courses. Just to update this, I am currently enrolled as a medical student at UT-Houston and am a rising 2nd year student.
