I have earned my master's in Education from Cambridge College. I love tutoring, and I believe students deserve tutors who can provide the best quality instruction from a professional who is able to discover and address their unique learning needs and challenges. I take a tutoring model that's sort of like a doctor. First step: diagnose the problem. Each student has a unique set of strengths, abilities, and challenges, and just as a doctor would not treat an ear infection with knee surgery, I do not use the same techniques and methods with all of my students. I take into consideration their backgrounds, successes, and learning styles. Then I use the resources I have available to individualized my instruction to each particular student. I also find it essential to develop a relationship with my students, to care about them and put their learning first, as if they are the only student in the world when I am working with them. I help students overcome challenges, and find satisfaction in seeing them succeed. In my free time, my hobbies include the stock market and soccer.
