I attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, and although I have experienced much of the professional world, I am always drawn back to teaching roles. I believe strongly in the ethic of building from a solid foundation of education philosophies a willing motivation to seek every opportunity to augment one's professional positioning for a successful future. I approach teaching with a two-pronged mantra: provide consistent stimulation of the mental senses by delivering lessons in engaging ways, and utilize a respected source to develop challenging and rewarding questions that subsequently drive students to analyze and evaluate the full aspect of a subject. I am skilled in teaching and tutoring essay editing, grammar and mechanics, STAAR courses, literature, reading and writing, English, and test preparation. My hobbies and interests include reading, painting in oils, watercolor and collage, traveling, and cooking.
