I'd attended Houston Community College for two years and transferred to Texas Southern University where I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a math GPA of 4.0 and an overall GPA of a 3.31.
Experience
I’ve been assigned to a learning academy and elementary schools where I was responsible for tutoring small groups of students in the subject of mathematics. I’ve also tutored one on one. During my tutoring experience, I’ve encountered language barriers as well as disorders, such as autism. However, no matter the issue, I was still able to help the students with enhancing their math grades. I have a passion for education, and I believe that helping a child early on in life that experience difficulties academically, would take the child further educationally and professionally.
