ExperienceI have a decade of experience as an aerospace engineer. I went to the Georgia Institute of Technology to earn my doctorate degree and masters degree in aerospace engineering. I also attended the City University of New York - Staten Island for degrees in applied math and mechanical engineering. As a tutor, I've had the opportunity to work with all types of students, including college students, students in inner-city schools, and private school students. Whoever I am working with, I focus on helping them build problem-solving skills instead of giving away answers. My ultimate goal as a tutor is to help students become independent learners, and this is a great way to accomplish that. I've been tutoring on and off for over 15 years since I graduated from college, and I can work with students of any age or level of ability. My specialties are physics, math, and test preparation. I love tutoring calculus because it's great to help students see how the abstract ideas and calculus are used in the real world every day. I'm also a fluent French speaker. In my free time, I enjoy soccer, basketball, and outdoor activities.
