I'm a tutor who is based out of Houston, Texas, where I enjoy working on PCs, traveling, and studying astronomy when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have both my masters degree and PhD in mathematics, and am extremely passionate about the field of study. As a tutor, I'm able to work with students in a variety of math-related coursework. I also speak Filipino fluently and can manage conversations in Spanish. I believe strongly in the power of education to improve a person's life. That's why I love helping students improve their math skills. There's nothing quite like the feeling I get when one of my students finally has a breakthrough in a subject they've been struggling with for awhile. I facilitate these breakthrough moments by providing individualized lesson plans suited to each student's particular areas of weakness. I then provide targeted exercises and feedback to ensure that the student gets the absolute most out of our time together. I want each of my students to develop the skills and academic confidence they need to become lifelong, self-sustaining learners.
