Experience
I graduated from the San Jacinto Community College with my bachelor's in mechanical engineering. I served the San Jacinto Community College as the lead math tutor, working with students of all academic levels up to calculus III. My passion for working with students has allowed me to reach students struggling to improve their grasp of basic to advanced math. I have five years of teaching experience that has allowed me to develop the skills it takes to reach students of various learning styles, personalities, and backgrounds. I can teach students useful tricks that allow a student to break down a challenging problem into an easy-to-tackle one. My aim as a tutor is to ensure that my student fully grasps the material, gaining the skills necessary for future academic success. I build a connection with my students that allows me to develop targeted learning plans centered around their ever-changing academic needs. I can tutor students in advanced placement courses, such as AP calculus. I enjoy seeing my students finally understand a challenging concept. I strive to make learning math a fun and enjoyable experience, rather than the difficult chore that many students see it as. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and video games.
