Private tutor in Houston, TX
University of Houston - Bachelors, Biochemistry
I always liked science, and living close to NASA really piqued my interest. I went to the University of Houston, and I majored in biochemistry. I also earned chemistry and Spanish minors. My mother is a teacher, and education is always been important in our family. I love to learn, and I'm always trying to pick up new skills. I work at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in radiation physics, where we study particle accelerators that provide radiation therapy. I'm looking forward to becoming a medical physicist in the future. I love math and science, but I struggled with them at times during my academic career. I believed in myself and persevered, and I was able to overcome learning obstacles. I want to help my students do this as well. In my spare time, I enjoy art, history, literature, following politics, playing the piano and cello, distance running, and boxing.
