I'm a tutor who is based out of Houston, Texas, where I enjoy reading, writing, and doing yoga when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in Spanish from Texas A&M University-College Station. I also have a double minor in both English and Italian. As a tutor, I'm able to work with students in both Spanish and Italian courses. While in school I worked for four years as a teaching assistant for both Spanish and Italian undergraduate courses. I taught weekly laboratory classes that helped students master these sometimes complex languages. This time spent working as a teaching assistant gave me an opportunity to develop a comprehensive teaching skill set. I taught a large group of students with varied levels of proficiency as a teaching assistant, but I also have experience tutoring smaller groups, and even doing one-on-one sessions with students. I'm dedicated to helping students improve their grammar, composition, vocabulary, and conversation skills in Spanish and Italian. There's nothing quite like the feeling I get when a student I'm working with finally has a breakthrough moment in their language learning. I hope to facilitate these breakthrough moments for all of my students, and I'd be honored to help you achieve your goals.
