I went to the University of Houston to earn my bachelor's degree in biology. I began tutoring as a college student, helping students understand math. I realized how much I like tutoring, and how gratifying it was to help someone understand a difficult concept or increase their test score. After finishing my degree, I taught geometry and algebra at the high school level. I believe every student can succeed in math learning if they put in consistent practice, and I can provide the guidance to help students understand material and ensure they get the practice that they need. When I have free time, I like to play music and tennis.
