Language is my passion and I want to help students make the most of their skills in both Spanish and English. I've worked with students in all types of age levels, from those getting ready to start kindergarten to older people looking to improve their skills. I believe it's important to create and adapt classes based on my student's knowledge, and finding a rhythm and learning style that works best for them. I enjoy using practical and real-life situations, so students see how the language is used, and feel more connected to it. I've been teaching for over a decade, and look forward to helping more students in the years to come. I specialize in English, all the way up to the college level. I can work with students who are not native to the English language, with focuses in ESL/ELL and TOEFL. I 'm skilled in Spanish and teach Spanish 1-4, including conversational Spanish. I'm also available for test prep, so students feel confident when they get ready to take a test in one of these languages. Outside of teaching I love being active and doing yoga and Pilates. Cooking, watching interesting documentaries, and reading a good book are some of my other hobbies.
