Experience
My tutoring philosophy is that I need to guide students along the way of their own learning path rather than get in their way with lectures. I lead the student to understand the process of problem-solving rather than giving away the answer. For students to be successful, they need to be able to find their own path, and it is my role to communicate with them and fill in the gaps along the way. I also provide patience and support, along with hands-on activities and other resources to help students better understand and retain information. My ultimate goal is for students to become self-sufficient learners. I'm excited to tutor students in Spanish, math, Java and C programming, computer literacy, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and others.
