I am primarily an English tutor and love it because I can share my own passion for literature. My experience goes beyond this as I've tutored in various subjects, including middle/high school English and history. I have a great track record of helping students develop their writing skills and appreciate literature. Also, I aid in creative writing, literary analysis, writing research papers, and with the process of applying to college. Writing should be fun and exciting and I know how to make the experience worthwhile, building confidence and helping students find their own style and voice.From grammar to social studies and American history, I can assist students in numerous areas of the academic spectrum.Recently, I graduated from UCLA and am preparing to take the GRE. I plan on applying to graduate schools soon and continuing on my path as a dedicated English student and further nurture my teaching abilities. My goal is to become a teacher of English. I also want to be able to write prose in my free time. Houston, Texas is where I live and I also enjoy reading, hiking, and bird watching when I have the time to take a break and refresh myself.
