Experience
I have about 8 years of experience (4 years teaching high school mathematics) with tutoring peers and other students--mainly middle school and high school. I would like to be a tutor because I have a passion for teaching and would love to help out those who are struggling in school. Education has always been something of great importance in my life, and I know that every opportunity such as tutoring is significant in determining whether a student succeeds or fails. My career and teaching have given me relevant experience with helping students in mathematics and I have done fieldwork in NISD, and NEISD (San Antonio school districts) and I taught high school algebra in Dallas ISD for 4 years. I have taken Calculus I,II, and III, linear algebra, geometry, differential equations, and foundations of analysis, just to name a few classes. Subjects I have tutored students in: HS Algebra 1&2, HS Geometry, HS Precalculus, Elementary Math, College Algebra, Business Calculus 1&2 I primarily plan to tutor in the Houston/pearland area with capability to do in-home or online tutoring.
