Experience

I have extensive experience in tutoring for test prep, as well as Middle School, High School, and College-level Math and Science classes, with a proven record in improving student performance and increasing understanding of material. I have brought many C and D students in Math and Science up to a consistent A/B average. I tutor because I enjoy helping students understand a subject and seeing visible progress from lesson to lesson in their academic success. My lessons are flexible and can be molded to fit a student's needs, whether they are short-term test prep, long-term classes in a challenging subject, or anything in between. I will drive to meet students, usually at local libraries or coffee shops. I have had success providing online tutoring for students using digital learning tools. Please reach out for sample lessons or materials. (Now tutoring exclusively online due to COVID-19) Tutoring and Test Prep: I teach Math, Science, and English at all levels (K-12, College, AP and non-AP). I work with students to improve their SAT and ACT scores, and I can help prepare students for SAT Subject tests. Application Editing: I provide college admissions advising in the form of essay editing and application review. Having successfully gone through the process before, I know it's incredibly helpful to have outside input on essays and applications. It's never too early to get started on college applications, and I provide structure and guidance throughout the hectic process. Professional Guidance: As somebody who succeeded in professional interviews, I am available for resume editing, interview coaching, and case interview practice. I can provide tips and practical advice for acing interviews, as well as exclusive practice resources. I look forward to meeting you and working with you! Qualifications ACT Score: 36 SAT 2 (Math 1/2, Biology M, Chemistry, Literature): 800 Score of 5 on all AP Exams taken, 18 total
