Private tutor in Houston, TX

Education

B.S. in Bioengineering from Rice University Baylor College of Medicine, 4th year medical student

Experience

A Rice-Baylor Medical Scholar with a score of 35 on the ACT, I chose the RBMS program over Columbia and early admission to MIT. I have over 10 years of experience in tutoring students of a variety of ages, from elementary school to college students. I am especially experienced in tutoring math and helping students prepare for standardized tests, particularly the SAT and ACT. I have had a number of students succeed visibly - both in scores and in understanding - in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, SAT math, SAT reading/writing, and the ACT. I have often had to tailor my teaching style to a particular student's needs, and would be happy to do that for your student as well.

Hobbies

Though my degree is in engineering and I am pursuing medicine, I definitely have a creative side I express through photography and short story writing. I love travel, coffee shops, and adventure, and I have recently developed an interest in web development.
