Education

Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rice University in Houston, Texas. Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law. I sat for the Texas Bar Exam three weeks ago, and I will get results from the exam in November.

Experience

Part of my learning process is teaching concepts to others. I believe that teaching a subject to a person is one of the most effective ways to solidify knowledge of the subject within yourself. Over the course of my years in higher education I have learned to appeal to different learning styles, and I am learning more very day about how to relate to individuals in ways that add value to their lives. I believe it is important to highlight a person's strengths and weaknesses as a student. The learning process starts first with understanding what you do not know and then building on it to fill in the gaps of knowledge.

Hobbies

My favorite hobby by far is cooking. I like to spend free time researching new recipes and concocting my own. I am also a voracious reader and watcher of movies. Whenever I have some free time I really enjoy finding a movie that I have never seen before, and I have recently begun to have a greater appreciation for leisure reading.
