Experience
Ever since high school, I have been interested in and also good at science subjects such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry, which also leads to my choice of pursuing a career in the field of chemistry. During my undergraduate studies at Peking University (the No.1 university in China), I achieved an overall GPA of 3.7/4.0, ranking 17/158 in my class, with almost perfect scores for Calculus and Physics. And I have also been able to finish the classes for my second major of Economy within the 4 years of college life. Before came to US, I have also taken the GRE General test (perfect score for GRE Quantitative) and GRE subject test (Chemistry, >95%). So all the records for my science classes should be able to show my knowledge in the related areas. At Rice University, I have also served as the teaching assistant for Organic Chemistry for 3 semesters in-a-row, which really helps me to improve my skills as a teacher. So I would really love to share my experiences to be good at these subjects, and I would love to share my passion about science with the students and also give out advice and suggestions if they choose the career of science.
