I believe in working with my students in a hands-on learning environment, because I feel this is most conducive to helping them better understand and grasp the material they are trying to learn.I have done research for many years, and part of the work I've done includes finding out how to extend the shelf life of certain foods with the use of natural products. I have also volunteered my time to tutor elementary age students, which made me desire to go into teaching.I offer tutoring in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, General Biology, Science, Laboratory, Medicine, Elementary Math, Writing, and English.I graduated from Prairie View A & M University, where I earned my B.S. in Biology.When I'm not working with my students, I love to go to museums, as well as travel to different places. I also like to go to the gym and work out.
