Experience
Right now in my medical school training, I am taking time off from rotations while I hit the residency interview trail. This will give me a very flexible schedule for the next few months, and I will be available most days and evenings. My experiences that are relevant to tutoring: - I worked for the test prep company Knewton, Inc., writing GMAT practice test questions and explanations (2008, NY, NY). - I was a paid science writing intern at Cancer Research Institute and Psychology Today magazine (2007, NY, NY). - I volunteered as a writing tutor with the nonprofit organization 826 NYC (2007-2009, NY, NY). - I taught 7th grade math, science, and social studies with Teach For America (2006, Chicago, IL). - I worked as a paid writing tutor at Middlebury College's writing center (2005, Middlebury, VT).

Hobbies
I devote a good deal of my spare time to Doctors For Change, a local nonprofit organization that advocates for more equitable health care delivery in Texas. I just moved to the Heights and am enjoying exploring this quirky, historic neighborhood by car, foot, and bike. I love yoga, trying new restaurants, traveling, cooking, and knitting.
