| Experience: | I am currently a final year graduate student at Rice university, houston, Texas. I am originally from India, but am living in houston from August 2004. I believe my oral communication skills are as good as one else's. I am doing my PhD in Materials chemistry/nanotechnology and interested in teaching students basic sciences. I do not have any previous experience of tutoring students, but I have mentored 5 undergraduate students @ Rice in my laboratory and also directed an organic chemistry laboratory (consisting of 50 students) for 2 consecutive years. I think as a tutor I will try to make the student interested in any subject as I personally feel that anyone can excel on something if he/she is interested in it. |
