ExperienceI have been tutoring for 7 years now and truly understand the value of encouragement and support in molding high-achieving students.
Most of my students/parents have met me by word of mouth - I have worked with over 30 families in the Houston area and can gladly provide any references.
HobbiesI love music and dance and still make time to partake in related activities despite school.
Additionally, I love giving back to the community and working with children and adolescents, in particular. This motivates my leadership in organizations including the Houston Global Health Collaborative, UTH Frontera de Salud (Border Health outreach group), Students Interested in Global Health at UT Houston, and MedKids (an organization which works with local elementary schools in underserved areas of Houston). I have also continuously served as Sunday School teacher for my parish for the past six years working with the primary (age 3-6) and middler(age 10-12) class groups.
